MyMetropolis will be carried out simultaneously in four different countries across Europe. On 5, 11, 19 and 25 October children from Assen, Riga, Berlin and San Sebastian will work together and build a new European city of the future. The participating locations are:
CBK Drenthe, Assen, The Netherlands
The Centre of Fine Arts Drenthe is the expertise centre in the field of contemporary art and design in – and outside of Drenthe. The CBK informs, advises and involve the public in activities such as exhibitions, lectures, workshops and talent development. In this way, the CBK offers the opportunity to the public to gain insight into the phenomenon (applied) art and discover what value art in the (everyday) reality may have. Thereby the CBK is contributing to the development of the art climate in Drenthe. It does so preferably in cooperation with other institutions.

Young Arts NK, Berlin, Germany
Young Arts Neukölln offers space for young art by and for young people in Neukölln. Here you can work and think on the intersection of all art forms. Together with Artists, schools and the Neukölln cultural scene Young Arts Neukölln develops workshops and seminars for children and young people in school and leisure. We want to provide easy access to artistic work. The self, the environment and social issues will be questioned. The result does not count, but the quest and the discoveries on your journey.

Koldo Mitxelena Kulturunea, San Sebastian, Spain
Koldo Mitxelena Kulturunea is a cultural center, which opened in 1993. The Culture, Youth and Sport Department is managed by the Directorate-General for Culture. A part of the center is the library to read, listen to music, watch movies, access the Internet. Beside the library there are exhibition spaces and all kinds of creative activities for a brought public.
